ILOT SAINT-URBAIN

The mineral stain KEIM Concretal plays a decisive role in the redesign of the Ilot Saint-Urbain residential and commercial block in the heart of Strasbourg. The multifunctional residential complex of 21,542 m² consists of eight buildings, each clad in different shades of colour. The colours serve as a unifying element between the different buildings and create a visual contrast with the surrounding landscape. The colour selection was developed by the two architectural firms LAN and TOA especially for this project.
