Studio Krubka’s P Home

Studio Krubka’s P Home is a compact concrete hybrid living–working space designed by Studio Krubka, one of Thailand’s leading architecture firms. The project reflects the idea that even in a dense urban environment, a home can still stay closely connected to light, air, and nature. On its 400 sq.m. site in the heart of Bangkok, the spaces are not strictly separated. Instead, light wells and openings are used to draw natural light and ventilation deeper into the interior.

To preserve the natural beauty of the concrete and ensure long-lasting durability, the project uses KEIM Concretal-Lasur and KEIM Concretal-Fixativ. These pure silicate mineral coatings strengthen the concrete surface and provide excellent breathability, preventing moisture buildup while keeping the original texture intact. Special shades 9310, 9296, and 9505 were used to harmonize with the materials and the overall atmosphere of the house.

A key element that showcases the careful design is the central courtyard featuring a beautifully shaped Crescentia alata Kunth tree. This open space acts as the heart of the home, connecting different rooms and blending natural light, airflow, and outdoor conditions into one seamless experience.

By combining KEIM’s material performance with thoughtful architectural design, the house becomes an example of natural durability and sustainable living in a tropical city.
